This is a Mater Birthday card for my newest Nephew who really enjoys Mater. I made this with my Gypsy and Cricut. I inked the edges of the pieces to give him the rusted, muddy look. I sell these cards for $6 each.
Then I decided to make a second one with a different Mater. I thought most kids recognize Mater by his funny teeth so........
I did the new card with Mater smiling and showing those famous teeth. I stamped a different sentiment in the second one. I love both cards.

UNDER THE SEA!
I rented a beach house in Depoe Bay Oregon for all four of my kids and grand children to join me for a week. During our vacation, my grand daughter turned 4 years old. I made decorations for an under the sea birthday party with my Cricut. The pictures in the lay out are of the party. I thought it was great to do a scrapbook lay out featuring the Cricut decorations using the Cricut to make the lay out. Nicole loved her party and we all had a great time. This lay out took a long time to cut out and put together, but it was worth it for the memories. My beach vacation, with my children will be a cherished memory for days to come. Getting to preserve it in a scrapbook, using my Cricut is just a bonus. Thank you Jesus for my wonderful children and allowing us the special time together. Thursday, October 3, 2013
This is a Get Well card I made for a couple of my friends. I made two different versions. One that says "Let's Play Doctor" on the front for a more play full card. I used colored stickles to highlite the nurses hair and I outlined the scrubs and crocs with inks pens. I used chalks from Studio G to apply her makeup. I thought it was cute and sweet.

This is the amazing space I have in our home to create in. Most everything in my room was purchased at second hand stores and off of Craig's List. 15 of the Jet Max cubes I purchased off of CL for $200. They were all new and still sealed in the boxes. The desk was purchased at a second hand store for $6.99. The 3 racks of paper I found on CL. I purchased them from a lady that was going out of business. I paid $75 for each rack, full of paper. The amazing craft table in the middle of the room, my husband made me for my birthday. The total cost was around $60. It has shelves at both ends where I store my Cricut Cartridges. The 4 drawer cabinet in the closet, my husband bought at a hospital yard sale for $4. The tv I got at Wal Mart on clearance. I buy all my cartridges on Ebay. It has taken some time to build this craft room up, but it was relatively inexpensive compared to if everything was purchased new. I am blessed to have a husband who is supportive of my hobby and I am blessed to have this amazing room.

My husband and I went to a placed called Main Street Grill on our first date. It was one of those cute little cafes with iron tables and chairs on the sidewalk with an awning above. I didn't know, but he had gone to the restaurant before he picked me up and talked to the manager. While we were eating the manager came out with this big bouquet of red roses and a stuffed bunny. He had left them with her earlier to surprise me. It did! Oh it was so precious. I still have those roses and the bunny. On our first anniversary, we went back to that restaurant and sat at the same table. This is an Anniversary card I made to look like the place we had our first date and celebrated our first year together. He loved the card and "said oh this is Main Street." He knew, I was impressed.
