This is a Mater Birthday card for my newest Nephew who really enjoys Mater. I made this with my Gypsy and Cricut. I inked the edges of the pieces to give him the rusted, muddy look. I sell these cards for $6 each.

Then I decided to make a second one with a different Mater. I thought most kids recognize Mater by his funny teeth so........

I did the new card with Mater smiling and showing those famous teeth. I stamped a different sentiment in the second one. I love both cards.
UNDER THE SEA!

I rented a beach house in Depoe Bay Oregon for all four of my kids and grand children to join me for a week. During our vacation, my grand daughter turned 4 years old. I made decorations for an under the sea birthday party with my Cricut. The pictures in the lay out are of the party. I thought it was great to do a scrapbook lay out featuring the Cricut decorations using the Cricut to make the lay out. Nicole loved her party and we all had a great time. This lay out took a long time to cut out and put together, but it was worth it for the memories. My beach vacation, with my children will be a cherished memory for days to come. Getting to preserve it in a scrapbook, using my Cricut is just a bonus. Thank you Jesus for my wonderful children and allowing us the special time together.
This is a Get Well card I made for a couple of my friends. I made two different versions. One that says "Let's Play Doctor" on the front for a more play full card. I used colored stickles to highlite the nurses hair and I outlined the scrubs and crocs with inks pens. I used chalks from Studio G to apply her makeup. I thought it was cute and sweet.

This is the amazing space I have in our home to create in. Most everything in my room was purchased at second hand stores and off of Craig's List. 15 of the Jet Max cubes I purchased off of CL for $200. They were all new and still sealed in the boxes. The desk was purchased at a second hand store for $6.99. The 3 racks of paper I found on CL. I purchased them from a lady that was going out of business. I paid $75 for each rack, full of paper. The amazing craft table in the middle of the room, my husband made me for my birthday. The total cost was around $60. It has shelves at both ends where I store my Cricut Cartridges. The 4 drawer cabinet in the closet, my husband bought at a hospital yard sale for $4. The tv I got at Wal Mart on clearance. I buy all my cartridges on Ebay. It has taken some time to build this craft room up, but it was relatively inexpensive compared to if everything was purchased new. I am blessed to have a husband who is supportive of my hobby and I am blessed to have this amazing room.

Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18317572891942331737noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1471375712826745663.post-56553573087974263382013-08-09T22:16:00.002-07:002013-08-09T22:18:36.635-07:00

My husband and I went to a placed called Main Street Grill on our first date. It was one of those cute little cafes with iron tables and chairs on the sidewalk with an awning above. I didn't know, but he had gone to the restaurant before he picked me up and talked to the manager. While we were eating the manager came out with this big bouquet of red roses and a stuffed bunny. He had left them with her earlier to surprise me. It did! Oh it was so precious. I still have those roses and the bunny. On our first anniversary, we went back to that restaurant and sat at the same table. This is an Anniversary card I made to look like the place we had our first date and celebrated our first year together. He loved the card and "said oh this is Main Street." He knew, I was impressed.
This is a 10X12 house my husband built in my in-laws back yard. I call it The Cricut House. It has a 4ft porch. He built this so I would have a place of my own for crafting while we were staying at his parents house. It has hardwood floors, a ceiling fan, and etched trim. It's so beautiful inside. He did such an amazing job building it. I took pictures of the entire process, start to finish. Here is a lay out of my husband painting the porch railing.

Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18317572891942331737noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1471375712826745663.post-34599246036968798952013-08-06T23:16:00.001-07:002013-08-09T21:09:22.572-07:00

This is the invitation I made for my Grand daughter's 3rd birthday party. I got the idea to use a lady bug for the card because every time she would have a lady bug land on her, she would just laugh and laugh. There is nothing more precious then a baby's laughter. This card was published in the 2013 issue of Cricut Birthdays magazine.
This is a scrapbook page I did of my little dog, Turtle. He was eating treats out of the daisys and it looked like he was smelling the flowers. The flowers I put in the lower right corner is an extension of the flowers in the picture. It just brings them to life. This page was published in the April 2013 issue of Cricut magazine.

Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18317572891942331737noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1471375712826745663.post-6775889447821055412013-08-06T22:57:00.001-07:002013-08-06T23:20:03.900-07:00

This is a set of cards I made to represent the four seasons. I thought the bike in each setting was just cute. These cards were published in the 2013 May issue of Cricut magazine.
These are the Christmas Cards I made last year. I loved all of them and It was so hard to choose which one to send to which loved one. I sold a lot of these styles to customers and was happy to receive positive feed back. I love making cards.

Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18317572891942331737noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1471375712826745663.post-46605875997150121292013-08-06T22:41:00.002-07:002013-08-06T22:41:51.120-07:00

I thought a sock monkey in pink was a good way to get out the message to sock it to cancer.

Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18317572891942331737noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1471375712826745663.post-51251506296258242822013-08-05T01:25:00.003-07:002013-08-05T01:25:58.079-07:00

This is the Birthday card I made for my husband's last birthday. I always want to make specials cards for him because he has been so good to me about my crafting. He goes with me to check out all the fabulous finds that I have found on Craigslist. Gives me his opinion before I purchase stuff. He has hauled a lot of stuff home for me. He is a pretty wonderful guy.

Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18317572891942331737noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1471375712826745663.post-51620395141741999202013-08-05T01:12:00.002-07:002013-08-07T01:15:49.434-07:00

This is the birthday invitation I made for my beautiful grand daughter's 4th birthday party. We were on a family vacation on the Oregon coast, so we decided to have an Under the Sea party theme. It turned out really cute.
I made her name, Nicole, with mermaids holding each letter for a center piece. The party turned out so nice. We all had such a good time.
